Each month, an hour-long professional development session will be offered through Zoom. All sessions will be recorded for those unable to participate live on Zoom. Sessions are held after the school day on Wednesdays from September through May and the month of December off. Professional Development sessions will include a mini-lecture or learning session, collaborative activities, and group discussion, as well as practical tools for teachers to take back to their classrooms and implement right away. Monthly topics are organized based on themes or instructional focus areas. Sample topics include classroom management, lesson planning, engagement and communication and project based learning.
